Polymer Modified MasterSeal Sealer

Before PMM

Polymer Modified Master Seal Sealer (PMM) is a polymer modified asphalt emulsion that is fortified with special surfactants. As it is asbestos free and water based, PMM contains less than 100 grams per liter volatile organic content, VOC, making this sealer environmentally friendly. The polymers and special surfactants contained in PMM allow for superior adhesion, flexibility and durability when applied to asphalt surfaces.

Polymer Modified Master Seal is job-mixed with specifically graded aggregate and applied at a rate of 58-62% solids. Because of the solids structure of PMM, this sealer provides a safe, skid resistant surface for pedestrian and vehicle traffic. PMM dries significantly faster than conventional sealers. One reason for the increased drying time is that PMM sealer is not diluted with water prior to application.

After PMM

PMM is designed to protect and beautify asphalt pavement surfaces. PMM sealer protects your pavement from oxidation, moisture intrusion and oil leaks. Because of its rich black color, your old and oxidized pavement will have that “like new” surface which enhances the overall appearance of your property.

Applying PMM to an asphalt surface requires special equipment. Our next update will be on sealer application. Insure you don’t miss this update or any of our blog updates by subscribing with your email address. Click the follow by email link to the right. Stay tuned!
